I guess it depends on a person's preference in life, whether they like always being at the edge of their seat or they'd rather a more comfy chair... or somewhere in between. Interesting thoughts. After all, two years ago, he didn't think he could have sustained feelings for more than one person at a time. I see no reason to believe that his preference for a model of polyamory that offers a little more security and time to his mono partner is any more stable than his preference for monogamy was.

I can trust that he means well. I can trust that he will not try to do something that I would find hurtful. But I can't trust that what he wants and needs today will have anything to do with what he wants and needs next week. (Which, yeah, I am with you on finding constant vigilance exhausting.) The game is already changed.

Maybe I'm just feeling extra gloomy because of recent Kimchi Cuddles posts, but it has not been a very hope-filled week for me.Rachelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3538552199728475689.post-30621232207790541972015-02-11T23:41:29.571-05:002015-02-11T23:41:29.571-05:00Just added your blog (and one other) to the sidebo...Just added your blog (and one other) to the sideboard.
